Relaxed for once...

Art-O-Matic goodness 6/21/09
I left a pathetic whiny LJ post earlier and kept it to private. I think that I should keep whiny posts to private much more often. My mom decided to stay home and is feeling a little better, but wobbly.

I just had the most amazing hot bath and it just drowned my depressed anger about work away. Plus the swelling on my left food went away too. I believe that I have to buy new work shoe and I don't really want to do so. Too cheap to do it. lol

Ordered take out and about to go to bed after I eat.

So, lame having to go to bed no later than 9pm.

Divorce. Working at a coffee shop, running around said coffee shop. I did do some running earlier in the months, use to run about 3 1/2 miles each day, until my dr told me to stop due to my foot and my bad knee.

I also went on the Ali diet for a few months and after I lost the first 15 pounds, I kept to the diet menu book and simply just walked everywhere. I am no longer on the diet pill. I keep a low fat diet and portion control is very good to loose weight.

I lost a total of 70 pounds.

So, what happened at the coffee shop to make you feel so down -- just same old, same old, or something especially lousy? Hope today shapes up better for you and your foot is improved. Cybermom says: be nice to your feet and wear a sturdy pair of running shoes behind the counter. I have tried telling my hair dresser that (down, mom, down!), but she insists on wearing high heals while cutting hair. I just don't get it.

Thanks for the cheering up. My shoes aren't the problem unfortunately. Ever since I broke my foot about 2 years ago, I get severe arthritic pain where I broke my foot. I've already been to two Dr.'s about it and I was diagnosed with Arthritis. Just sometimes after a long shift, my foot swells up and I sometimes have to soak my foot. I have excellent waiter shoes to prevent me from slipping or causing any type of uncomfortable issues with my feet. I just have good days with my foot and bad ones.

Yesterday was a day from hell. From training a new employee to dealing with upset customers with said new employee. Some people just don't get the new kid factor in retail and the poor guy was at wits end.

I also had a lady chew me out and was using pretty harsh language at me. It was just never ending with issues with registers acting up as well and A LOT of bitching by caffeine deprived people. A lot of people are serious about their damn coffee. Geeze.

Thanks for looking out for me, I really appreciate it. It just seems like all I do lately is sleep, wake up at 4 am, sleep and go back to work again. I guess I should say, welcome to the real world, Carolynn. :)
