Prior to a live journal post that I swore up and down that I would never get a facebook account, I did. I failed my own addictions and that bothers me a little bit. However, I am just getting use to the account and I think that I added people? I am uncertain about this and I may just ignore it, but I have one for future DJ gigs and parties that I still like to promote. A friend told me last night that this is a good way to network as well and I am simply using this tool. I am afraid, that I went over to the dark side. If you can't beat em', join em'?

For a long time I said I wouldn't get Facebook either but I did and nowadays hardly anyone goes to MySpace anymore. I still like MySpace though for checking on bands. (Easier to find tour dates on there).

Well, most of my friends are on facebook and I wanted to see the layouts myself. Its a nice little tool and I actually think its a great forum to use. I am also a new band manager and I wanted to get familiarized with facebook and use this promotional tool. I am also going to set up the bands twitter site as well. So, I'll be on twitter too, just not me, the band will.
