You all cannot make me nor twist my arm to join these groups.
My live journal and my myspace are simply enough for my entertainment.

Yup. I avoided Facebook until I had events to promote, and for so many people an event is not happening until it is on Facebook.
I avoided Myspace until I had bands to contact. Myspace is terrible compared with LJ, but it is good for bands, so good in fact that many bands no longer have any other web presence and the only way to contact them is via their Myspace, but you have to have a Myspace account to get the contact details. Ergo, I now have a Myspace.
Someone better not find an indispensable use for Twitter! I have too effing much to keep up with at present, not to mention that I can only do Facebook and Myspace things at home because werk blocks them.
