I have to say, that I had a great weekend! I had a great time DJ-ing at Midnight and the Nitzer Ebb show was off the hook. We left early and that was OK because of the smoke and the crowd, I was too tired by 12:00am,sadly.

I am rested now and about to get ready for work. :)

To get your house chores done before even have to worry about getting ready for work is a good thing. I am just super relaxed today and I am glad for that much needed sleep.

Although, I am highly addicted to facebook and I am on there more. It appears that people are loosing their interests here on live journal. Do people actually read what I put here? Or is this a wasted entry? Just curious?

I think certain blog networks like Facebook and Myspace are good for networking. I just like live journal because its a quick tool to use and its also my therapy when I need to rant now and then. Sometimes you just have to vent and this works.:)

Woke up with a great sleep last night and my back no longer hurts. I feel really good today and I am just going to take every day with an open mind and learn as I go. I am a bit nervous and I'll need to work on that.

I've been receiving a lot of party invites for Halloween and for the upcoming weeks. If I had to kindly decline its because of my new crazy work schedule. I am DJ-ing at Spooky this year and this is the ONLY Halloween party that I am able to attend. If you want to have me at your parties,please tell me in advance.

I might be able to attend one_andrea's Halloween party. However, it really depends on how I will feel. I am working the entire weekend and missing out on a lot of Halloween parties. One of the main reasons why I did not get a Halloween costume this year.

For future gatherings, I will need up to a week or two weeks notice to decide on what I will be able to do with my schedule. No more set schedule's like I use to have at my old place of work, its going to have a variation of different set times which I like anyway. Not the same old routine and easily not boring for me.

Hope those who invited me to their parties understand and I would like to hang out in the near future. A ladies night is in order soon and I also need to adapt that into my new schedule. Being the boss is not going to be easy that's for sure.

Paranormal Activity was not worth the money in the world. I jumped a couple of times and I laughed more at the audience with their screaming. The ending was well... you see it for yourself. The company was great and it was great to get out. Just think twice before you see it, wait until the movie comes out on demand, which will probably be after Halloween is over with. :P

A bunch of us are all going to the 4:25pm showing of Paranormal Activity at the Lowes Georgetown theater on K street, NW. If you are interested in hanging out you are more than welcome to join us. I believe I plan on getting there around 4:00pm just to get the tickets and get a good seat.

Is to start taking more photos with friends on a regular basis because you never know what will happen to them. Friendship is a glorious gem to me and I have very few friends,however,they are all very precious to me. Yesterday, at the party I started to remember Louisa and how much I really do miss her. Its almost been a year of her passing and I am still having difficulty with it. I don't know what made me write this about her, I just felt like I had to share this with my live journal friends.

I was super happy with the people who showed up at the party because it was with my closest friends who care about me. Who never judge me and who never look down on me. I am really blessed with the friends that I have and I will always love you guys so much. You all mean the world to me and from now on, I plan on taking more photos just to match the moment and keep that memory alive.

Speaking of photos, here is one of my sweet friend Javier and I. I should have taken more photos at the entire nights festivities, however, I was having too much fun! I made out with a chick, I kissed a sexy as fuck German dude and I just had a wonderful time. :)

Its been a couple of days. I'm alive, exhausted and ready to get in another day at Caribou. "sigh"
I wish I have today off!! Bound's gig was great,however, during my second set around 1:45 my body said,"hell to the no" and my friend Marti took me home. My legs were just so tired from standing for 7 hours. With getting my hair done and a 45 minute nap, my body just really did not have the urge to stay up late.

I had a blast though.

Thinking about seeing a movie and going to have sushi tonight. :)

"Yawn". What a boring day and I don't blame people for not wanting to come into a coffee shop on a beautiful day like today. It sucked because I was stuck in a useless store with another co-worker who was COMPLAINING all day. BORING.

I can not wait to get out tonight. The weather and the day is simply just full of wonderful energy. Despite my silly whiny post about work, I plan on taking the boring work energy and releasing myself with full on dance mode. Those DJs better place good shit tonight. :)

I think that I am going to be dressing up tomorrow. Today, I shall clean my area of the apartment and get back into organization.

For hours today I was trying to find my glasses. With the amusement of others on my facebook, I made a complete ass of myself with really bad grammar and errors on facebook. However, do people really care all that much about proper grammar and spelling on a facebook account? To me, since you are only opted to right small lines or phrases, it should not really matter.

However, I did crack up a lot of people today and that I am thankful for making them laugh. :)

Eeek! OMG! Too much caffeine in me. My heart was racing today because I had too much coffee. Now, I am drinking herbal peppermint tea and I feel relaxed and really good.

It was so beautiful out today that when I walked into work, I told my boss that I want to have a leave of absence. He said "oh you too?" I said, and what is your reason? He said, its fucking beautiful out side.

This my friends is the only thing that he and I agreed on today.;)

I really wish that my weekends would not fly by as quickly as they do.

No club Vertigo on October 30th and once I get more news as to why, this is all I can post. I am a bit sadden that I could not DJ on Halloween and add Sp00kie flare to it. "sigh"

Speaking of gigs though:

I have a guest DJ spot at BOUND on 9/25
I also have a guest DJ spot at Eclipse on 10/16

Both are Friday nights events. One night in DC and the other night in B'more.

Even with this dreadful weird cold fluky weather. I am hitting Spellbound tomorrow night as I have not been out all Summer! So, its time to get the velvet on and my nice long coat and head over to L street for a little bit.

This has got to be one of the best days in a long time. The reason? Getting off of work early because we were a ghost/ghoul town again. Plus we were over staffed by a dozen or so people. So, I volunteered to take the day off.

Had the best breakfast ever, pumpkin bread w/a candied apple latte that I made which had the best smell ever and the Soy milk with it was just divine. I also bought a real breakfast of scrambled eggs, crispy beacon, and home fries. Yum.

Took the best nap ever and felt rested.

Had constant flattery by gents and ladies about pictures and me being a good friend. I was blushing by mid afternoon.

A pleasant phone call from a dear friend whom I just adore.

A nice dinner

Finally...

Clean clothes. Nothing can beat a good day with clean clothes and watching spooky movies while folding clean clothes.

I really feel loved.
